Hello there!

I’m Begum, the proud founder of Mira Tutoring. While I’m a secondary school science specialist by profession, I’ve been tutoring various subjects for even longer. My journey began at 17, when I first tutored GCSE Maths to a student who reached out through a tutoring website. He was struggling with dyslexia and dyscalculia and was on the verge of failing maths, which threatened his college prospects. With some dedicated sessions, we managed to get him to a strong C in just a few months. That was my first paid gig and the start of my passion for tutoring and teaching hundreds of students since then.
